  1. Team Management:
    • Supervise, mentor, and train a team of service technicians.
    • Provide guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing and repairing medical equipment.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  2. Service Operations:
    • Develop and implement service schedules to ensure timely maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment.
    • Coordinate with customers to schedule service visits and minimize equipment downtime.
    • Oversee inventory management of spare parts and service supplies.
  3. Technical Support:
    • Serve as a technical resource for complex equipment issues and troubleshooting.
    • Collaborate with manufacturers and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and implement solutions.
  4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including FDA regulations, ISO certifications, and other applicable guidelines.
    • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold service standards and meet customer expectations.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Identify opportunities for service improvements and implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
  6. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Generate regular reports on service activities, including service calls, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the medical equipment industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software.

Working Conditions:
